To the W of the lake and within sight of the ampitheater of the Domaine de Volkrange is a monument commemorating US aviators.
Take the A31 N from Metz and get off at exit 43, turning around on the roundabout to head W on the D14/14B. Turn S on the D57 into Volkrange and head into the Domaine de Volkrange and the VTF. Follow the path to the lake and amphitheater where the monument is located.
