KIA on June 2nd 1944
B-24H-FO Liberator 42-94933 8R D "Stubby Gal II" was shot down by flak on June 2nd 1944 during a bombing run over the airfields of Creil and Brétigny. The death and subsequent burial at the US Epinal cemetery of radio operator John McGeachie is referenced as well.
