At the intersection of the D973 and the Rue du Roy Saint Nicholas and Rue du Mont Gillon, to the east of the village.
In memory of the American crew comprised of Claude Weid, Rex Pond, Edward Vermillion, Edward Hill, and the 40 american soldiers who died in the crash of the Curtiss C-46 on May 23rd, 1945 at Taillefontaine. They had been fighting since June 6th 1944.
The plane had been ferrying wounded American soldiers and German POWs to Paris when it crashed.
