The entrance to a farm field at the W corner of the D-17/Chasse des Coisnets intersection marks the site of the first US airfield in the area.
Take the D974 N from Carentan to Sainte-Mere-Eglise then the D17 NE from there. The monument is at the W corner of the intersection between the D17 and the Chasse des Coisnets.
