The grassy space at the turn-off E of the D32 and S of the cul-de-sac contains a memorial to US aviators.
From Saarbrucken in Germany take road 41 SW over the border and then take the D32/Route de Stiring Wendel N. Once past the Rue du General de Gaulle turn-off take the next right E to an apartment complex's cul-de-sac. The monument is to the S immediately after the turn-off.
In memory of the 446th Bomb Group crew of the B-24H "Ginger" that crashed in Schoeneck on August 26th 1944 and in thanks to those that died for our freedom.
