North from the A10 take the D31 south and then the D55 SW to the D5. Take it west to the D46 and that north past the creek. Take the first left and head NW to the Place de Verdun.
In memory of Major Lawrence H. Herrick who was killed at Reugny August 5th 1944.
The P-38 Lightning of Major Lawrence H. Herrick 370th FG 485th FS exploded over Reugny on August 5th 1944 after strafing a train. He only had one victory since June 25th, taking off from Cardonville (Calvados) where his squadron was based since July 24th.
