A stone monument in a chapel's grassy enclosure commemorating American aviators.
Take the D7 and D786 north to Paimpol where you switch to the D15 and take that all the way to the port. The monument is on the west side of the road, in the chapel's enclosure.
In memory of the crew of the American B-26 Marauder N°42-95802 bomber that fell at the mouth of the Trieux on August 25th, 1944 while returning from a mission over Brest.
A plaque for F/Sgt Gittus lies on the same boulder.
The Souvenir Francais has a project idea to install an information panel on the monument.
