The town hall of Ploeren displays a plaque in its lobby honoring US airmen.
Take the N165 W from Vannes and get off S on the D127. Once clear of the roundabouts turn SW on Rue de Guernehue. Follow it W onto Rue de Ker Ana and then turn N on Rue de la Mairie. The monument is in the town hall, on the E side of the road.
In memory of the crew and victims of the B-17 42-29838 "The Concho Clipper"'s crash over Ploeren on May 29th 1943.
