An old bath-house contains a plaque honoring a US aviator. Take the A330/N57 S from Nancy and get off onto the D913 heading SW. Follow it all the way until it crosses Le Madon river. Once across turn south on the D913 and then SW on the D5. Follow the latter to Omelmont. Once there turn NW on the Rue des Acacias. At the end of that street on the right-hand side is a "lavoir", or bath-house on Rue du Jardin de la Fete. The plaque is located on the porch wall on the far left side.
In memory of Lt Bradley B. Clark who fell here on December 23, 1944 and of all his comrades of the 371st USAAF Fighter Group who gave their lives for our freedom. P-47 Thunderbolt Lt Bradley B. Clark was from New York. He now rests in the American Cemetery of Quéquement, on route Dinozé from Epinal. The official inauguration of the memorial plaque occurred on September 12th 2002 in the presence of his family, including his niece Cindy from California.
