The northern side of the Tocqueville road, after the retirement home, contains a memorial honoring American service members.
Take the N13 NW from Caen to Valognes. From there, take the D2 S then the D126 NW and D87 SW. Follow Le Ferrage/Tocqueville W to the monument. The latter is located on the northern side of the road.
22 parachutists fell here for our freedom at the dawn of June 6th 1944.
