On the brick wall of the stairway leading to the town hall sits a plaque commemorating US and Dutch aviators.

Take the D1001 S from Amiens to Breteuil then take the D930 W to Songeons. From there take the D133 NW to Héricourt-sur-Thérain. Take the rue d'Héricourt NE through town to the church.

Dutch aviators

US fighter pilot Alfred D. Evans fell here on June 7th 1944, pilot of the P-47D 42-76118 of the 62nd FS 56th FG 8th AF was shot down by flak not far from d'Héricourt.
