The property of Mr. Jean-François Mahé next to the abandoned railroad tracks contains a memorial to a US aviator.

Take the D923 W from Chartres then the D203 W to the D918 N. Go S on the D418 and turn NW on La Basse Roche over the railroad tracks to La Haute Roche and La Piffeliere. The monument is on the E side of the road.
