A small clearing containing the town's war monuments.
Take the D929 southeast out of Dreux then the D136B northeast to the D116. Follow that southeast down to the Route de Boissy. Take that north to the D113, head east till you turn south on the Rue de la Mare Rouge. The monument is located north of the intersection with the Rue du Bois aux Moines.
Lieutenant Weins, pilot of the US Air Force, 485Th Fighter Squadron, 370Th Fighter Group. Shot down at the controls of his Lightning on July 23rd, 1944.
